Candy Cane Winter Green Smoothie Blend
If you need more of a low FODMAP friendly recipe and have a sweet tooth and need something quick (and away from the stove!), try this recipe from Ilene! This recipe is high in healthy fats, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. If you want to spice it fresh berries such as strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries would be a great addition. If you have a chocolate craving, cacao powder is a great way to spice it up and satisfy those sweet tooth cravings.
  • 1 small, banana frozen and cut in pieces,
  • High protein almond milk (Elmhurst is recommended; there are no gums or fillers and contain 5 grams of protein per 8 oz cup!)
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 cup organic kale
  • Cinnamon
  • Crystal Himalayan sea salt
  • 5 mini ice cubes
  • 1 drop doTERRA peppermint essential oil
  • ⅛ avocado (optional)
  • 1 tsp coconut oil (optional)
